Life's been a bit of a journey for me lately - emotionally and geographically. I've ended up in Bath in the UK...you know, Jane Austen, Roman Baths and the like.
So...anyway...40something gay bear type...yada yada yada... cheeky, funny, compassionate and occasionally prone to rant.
All sorts of nonsense interests me…that keywords malarkey below gives you the general idea.
I'm a bookoholic. Seriously, I can't walk past a bookshop without coming out in a cold sweat and an urge to buy. I buy books all the time and I never get round to reading all of them , which is my greatest frustration.
I’m also a complete history/science nerd …go on, ask me anything about the Vikings or the planet Mars…
I was born in the wrong place at the wrong time…the leading candidate for the right time and place is Scandinavia in the 9th century.
I rant about the evils of TV, but regularly get hooked on good quality series - Torchwood, The Wire, Oz, Skins, Shameless, Heroes, Life, the magnificent West Wing, the much missed and shortlived Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip...yup I may rant but I'm a TV hypocrite.
I once toyed with idea of being a cryptozoologist, but there just wasn’t the demand in Swindon…so I became an office monkey for a while. Then a milkman. Then I got run out of town by the water company - no, really…
..I now teach for a living, and I love it. I suspect it may be a vocation, but that's way to scary to think about.
